Eastman AC422

CEThese guitars are well crafted instruments that sonically and asthetically equal the more well known brands like Taylor without as high a price tag.A quick google or YouTube review about this guitar will show how guitar players feel about them.

This model is has a solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides (a wood combination that’s hard to find at this price), ebony fingerboard and bridge/bridge pins, bone nut and saddle and mother of pearl inlays on the fingerboard and around the sound hole.It also comes with an LR Baggs element (under saddle piezo) pickup with controls tucked under the sound hole.

I bought this about a year and a half ago, am now moving house and have too many guitars so am downsizing. I’ve lowered the nut and saddle height to bring the action to a preferable level (factory comes with excess height to allow for adjustment).I’ve also smoothed the finish on the back of the neck to make for smoother playability up and down the fretboard and have kept the fretboard oiled.

The wood has opened up from when it was bought and sounds great. The rosewood/spruce combination and body shape gives a depth to the bass notes as well as twinkling clear highs.

Come play it and see for yourself.
