Your new company
This position will see you working within a State Government department, based in Melbourne’s CBD. You will be working with a well-established public sector team that is responsible for ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations.
Your new role
In this assignment, you will coordinate and facilitate all incoming enquires, create and maintain all files and records and undertake specialised research into matters. The position also requires support in preparing, reviewing, analysing and summarising documents and correspondence, performing legal research, fact gathering and information retrieval.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Demonstrated experience and success in a similar role
- Ability to understand and interpret contractual and legislative documentation
- Strong business acumen, research and writing skills and commerciality
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written, negotiation, relationship builder & conflict manager
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner to multi-task and prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines
- A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
