An original Yamaha U3H(PE) ‘Professional Series’ concert upright piano in absolutely immaculate as new condition inside and out. The Yamaha U3HPE was only made between******1982 and are widely regarded as the pinnacle of Yamahas full size piano range from the golden era of Japanese piano manufacturing. This piano was manufactured in the original Yamaha piano factory in Hamamatsu, Japan during the golden era of Yamaha’s piano manufacturing period.
This piano has not been refurbished, but rather completely restored to original factory specifications. This has included all new Yamaha components replaced including a full set of brand new ‘K Series’ hammer heads, usually installed in baby grand pianos.
The high gloss ebony cabinet has also been fully repolished back to perfect original condition with a single blemish anywhere. All brasswork was re,over and repolished.
Rarely seen in Australia, they were originally designed to act as a grand piano in an upright format to save space and were mainly marketed throughout Asia where people living in apartments could not fit a grand piano.An extremely popular model among musicians and professionals, these original Japanese made Yamahas are often favoured over the brand new models now made in Indonesia from interior materials and labour.This piano is located at our piano workshop and store in Norwood.
