Perfect for the Muso on the move, a student, or even an old pro on a budget, who wants a quality instrument to take on the road, or to play at home! (some pics may show RH model).

The Traveller Series Features;

* Natural Satin Finish.

* Arched Back (for better projection).

* 580mm Scale Length.

* Baby Dreadnought Body (3/4 size) 89cm overall length. Please give this your attention!!! This is not a full size guitar, that’s why it’s called a Traveller.

I usually have just one in stock and it’s the Jati-Teak which Ive dubbed J.T.The Jati-Teak comes with matching fretboard and looks like it belongs in the deep south 1930’s playing the blues on a ricketty porch with an American Oak barrel of Bourbon next to you… Stop it!There should be a stock image of the Koa version too.

Before I undertake my extensive prepwork, all guitars that arrive here from Vic sit for 7 days as they respond dramatically to Qld climate. Once they drink the humidity, the body swells and raises the string action, requiring a saddle shave and more.

I do this for you to enjoy your Guitar, as many people give up learning because the guitar is poorly set up and hard to play.Here is what I do on each guitar before it’s ready for sale. This separates me from the rest of the pack;

* Polish the frets (makes the world of difference) and fret-dress if and where needed.* Hydration Treatment for fretboard and bridge.* Nut Action Adjusted.* Adjust Neck Relief.* Most importantly, I have also thrown away the plastic bridge saddle (see pic) and shaved and fitted a genuine compensated bone item, so it sounds great, has a nice confortable playing action, and now it’s ready to go and better than the rest!

We are getting up to 20% more projection out of the soundhole with the Bone Saddle upgrade, and bone has a degree of self lubrication too. It minimises ticking when tuning up. The LH saddles cost me $15. Why I would I lose that out of an already shrinking margin if I was driven by passion?

* They don’t come with a front strap pin, but I fit that for you at no extra cost, because it matters!

NOTE: I can upgrade this model with a Built-in Piezo Pickup for $35 more.Retailers cant afford the time on such a cheap guitar with a small profit margin. In fact this model arrives in a box with a plastic bridge saddle, and I pay freight from Melbourne and put a lot of effort into each guitar.There are online Sellers who can sell you a guitar in a box that may not be set up and is therefore, harder to play, but at least it’s cheap! If you want to enjoy playing, don’t go down that path!

Surely all of the above must count as added value. I charge people approx $100 when they bring their own guitars in to get my prepwork done, but it’s free with the purchase of any of my steel string acoustic guitars..

I set aside an hour for each visitor so that I can give you my full attention without interruption, so that we can match you with the right instrument.

We are a small family business.You won’t be dealing with a frustrated rockstar whose focus is on going home, you’ll be dealing with me, and I do this out of passion.

I don’t haggle on price…ever! I don’t respond to offers (and ignore trolls).I simply don’t need to when I’m doing $120 of free to you prepwork per guitar.

I work from my private Studio/Workshop at my property in beautiful Mapleton, in a semi-retired basis and am therefore only available by set appointment 8am to 1pm Mon to Fri, certain Sat 8am-12pm. It pays to book in advance.EFTPOS Here!!!
