National Australian owned Manufacturing business, delighting taste-buds across the Country with their family favourite creations are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join their growing and successful team on the Coast.

Your new role

  • Ensure the process and systems are continually improved to manage a proactive approach to maintenance and to ensure reactive items are addressed
  • Schedule preventative and routine maintenance, monitor adherence to planned maintenance scheduled and investigate and report significant variances to the Manufacturing Manager
  • Undertake maintenance (within skill level) and manage contracted services for maintenance required outside electrical and mechanical abilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support the delivery of site services and utilities to maximise up time and ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and quality requirements
  • Manage the maintenance management system (MEX) and analyse and report maintenance KPI’s and identify opportunities to improve maintenance programs
  • Deliver and/or approve purchase orders to ensure company policies are met and parts/services delivered in a timely manner
  • Respond efficiently to the services needs of customers and teams
  • Adhere to and promote all quality, food safety, EH&H and environmental policies and procedures within the team
  • Conduct internal induction of new staff & training as require

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical abilities with knowledge of complex hydraulic systems; rotating vessels; conveyors, screening equipment and mobile plant
  • Project management of capital and improvement activities
  • Experience of implementing maintenance and reliability systems
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Undertake a National Police Check
