Learning Designer | Temporary, 3 months minimum | Hybrid working model, Sutherland | Up to $500 p/d super

Your new company

You will be working within the public sector for a large employer in Southern Sydney.Your new role

  • You will be responsible for design, and development of learning, to meet the organisational needs whilst engaging employees and building capability.
  • Facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner and create learning environments and experiences.
  • Engage in activities that enable learning by creating supportive environments which includes online community management, promoting collaboration and discussion through social media technologies and supporting the broader HR team to generate and share own content.
  • Current content needs an overhaul, you will be responsible for reviewing and updating training content, adding or changing modules of learning.
  • Writing and updating training content, getting ready for content to be uploaded into LMS in the future.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in instructional design, educational technology or similar and equivalent experience
  • Significant experience and proven skills in instructional design and the development of employee-led learning experiences and resources.
  • Experience and proven skills of course development software e.g. Articulate 360, Captivate, Rise, Storyline, Moodle or proprietary LMS
  • Demonstrated experience with visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
  • Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript coding knowledge
  • Strong audio and visual editing capability
