The house is situated in Kensington, a short walk to the Marryatville/Tusmore shopping area in one direction and the Norwood Parade shopping area in the other. You are surrounded by shops, cinemas, cafes, restaurants and pubs, while at the same time living in a safe, quiet, tree-lined street containing heritage properties. There are several parks nearby. There is also a nearby OTR for midnight snacks or the milk you forgot to buy. The bus is very close-by and there are also quick bike routes to the city.

The house is a spacious, heritage, blue-stone, four-bedroom house with polished floor boards and open fireplaces. Only three bedrooms are used as bedrooms. The other is used as a storage room. The property has several gardens and lots of character. It also has air conditioning, a lounge room, a large eat-in kitchen, a bathroom, a cellar, a laundry and two toilets.

One large room is now available. It can be furnished with a bed, wardrobe etc. from the storage room if you want, or you can use your own furniture. Rent is $145 a week. The bond is four weeks’ rent. There is no lease required and so there is no lease period, so you can stay as long as you like, as long as it is at least six months. NBN internet, electricity and water are $22.50 a week. On-site car parking is available but needs to be negotiated with one person who currently parks in the driveway.

You will be sharing with one man and one woman. One is a 38 year-old Australian man who is studying Social Work at UniSA and working part-time. The other is a quiet 23 year-old Polish-Australian woman who is working part-time while studying for a Bachelor of Social Science (Human Services) at UniSA.

Both are mature, easy-going, quiet, clean, tidy and respectful. We are looking for a housemate who is the same.

No smoking is allowed.

Another person (the owner) lives in a separate house on the other side of a large garden in the backyard.
