Permanent Foreman position with well-regarded, established construction company operating 20 years.
Your new company
This well known and respected construction company have been operating in Canberra since 1999. They bring a wealth of experience to all aspects of commercial construction and their primary areas are small to medium commercial new builds and renovations. Their close-knit team of 15 staff work collaboratively as a team to achieve quality and efficient delivery of projects. Due to a growing pipeline of work in Canberra and interstate, they are seeking a motivated Foreman.
Your new role
As the Foreman/Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing one or several jobs at any one time. You will:
- Supervise and coordinate contractors on site;
- Work closely with the Project Manager;
- Manage and deliver program on time;
- Ensure all WHS requirements are being upheld;
- Undertake trade work as necessary;
- Organise the procurement and delivery of materials; and
- Communication with all relevant stakeholders.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience supervising commercial construction projects,
- A trade background is preferred;
- Ability to problem solve, interpret detailed drawings and buildability;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
