We are a small, friendly, close-knit team on Macquarie Street in Sydney CBD, looking for a passionate and caring dentist to join our busy practice. Our surgery has recently been renovated, with brand new equipment and modern facilities (rotary endodontics, digital xray, OPG machine).
About the position:
- Initially a locum position of 3 days/week (M/W/Th – negotiable), taking over full books of principal dentist, who is going on maternity leave
- Ideally to continue as a part-time position, as principal reducing hours on return from maternity leave
- 40% commission
- Weekday hours only (no weekend work)
- Excellent support staff
- Easy access – close to buses, less than 5min walk from train stations (Martin Place and St James), 10min walk from ferry
To be successful in this position, we are looking for a dentist with:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry
- Proficiency in endodontic therapy, extractions and fixed/removable prosthodontics highly regarded
- Minimum three years’ experience in private practice
- Ability to work well in a team
