Your new role

In this role you will have the opportunity to assist in an innovative Defence project and further develop your skills and experience in automated systems and artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage small projects from acquisition, budgeting and reporting, set to work, tests, training and delivery to end users;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain relevant approvals to support the projects
  • Assist in the development of supporting documentation and plans involving relevant technologies.
  • Make arrangements to enable experimentation and trials for specific technologies including logistics, range access, air/space management, stakeholder engagement
  • Conceive, build, set to work and experiment with technologies that involve using relevant technologies and communications equipment to further Defence capability
  • Assist in the implementation of combat ready prototypes in the Air and Surface/Sub-surface domains that involve relevant technologies, from concept development to operationalisation.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Experience in Project Management, Systems Engineering or any other relevant areas.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain, an NV1 and/or TSPV Security Clearance.
