Due to ongoing growth and demand, Peli BioThermal is recruiting a newly created Business Development Manager in Australia.

Your new role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be Peli BioThermal’s main representative in Australia, selling innovative products and service options designed to fulfil the complex and varied cold chain logistic packaging and distribution needs required by pharmaceutical/biotech, commercial pharmaceuticals, clinical trial/diagnostics, blood and military/government/ NGO organisations. You will be responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability and account penetration by effectively selling the company’s products and related services, developing strategic business relationships and enhancing product awareness with dealers, distributors and end-users. You will develop and manages sales plans, promotional campaigns, and distribution channels in order to attain adequate profit margins, achieve sales growth goals, and enhance the company’s position for customers within your assigned region.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and 5 years’ sales experience with technical products in BioPharma, pharmaceutical, biologics, logistics, cold chain and/or medical industries. Candidates with knowledge in cold-chain logistics will be looked upon favourably. You will have experience working autonomously and a demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic plans across a geographically dispersed organization. Key to your success will be competency in strategic thinking and ethical leadership with strong abilities in relationship management with customers, vendors and employees at all levels and in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment.
