I was initially told by the seller that they were babies or at least very young. They clearly were not when I went in to the shop. I felt somewhat obliged to buy them as he’d got them in for me. I went in the next day to purchase a new cage as the female kept escaping, & I asked if they were aviary bred, & he said they were from a very, very large aviary.
It’s not fair for them to now be in a cage, in a house, clearly not exposed to people much, & the female doesn’t seem to really like the male.
$50 for the pair or willing to swap for a pair of young, healthy, genetically sound, at least hand tame budgies.
