Southern Cross Handmade acoustic guitar
In 2005, Coffs Harbour luthier Victor Listkow modelled this instrument on the famous Martin 000. It features AA Spruce top, mahogany back and sides and a B-Band preamp.
The most striking feature is the depth of the soundbox – at almost half the depth of a dreadnought, it all but eliminates the ‘boominess’ you can experience with amplified acoustics.
As a hand-made (as opposed to a factory production) guitar, it is a one-off and for the discerning left-handed player, it is unique.
