I have been riding / occasionally racing Trek 29er since 2010.

My carbon Trek Supefly’s frame broke in 2017, so I decided to buy this light aluminum bike – which has bullet proof components.

XT Shimano brakes, SRAM X1 11 x 1 drive train, SID 120mm travel Rockshox fork, 110mm Rockshox shock. The Twinloc handle mounted shock lockout is a great feature of the bike – lock suspension for quick climbing.

It is a light & fast, with a flip chip to change the head angle & bottom bracket height. Great geometry – front wheel stays planted climbing & secure while decending.

Short chain stays keeps it nimble up climbs like cockatoo switch backs in Canberra etc.

I have never regretted buying this bike for $4200; selling only due to buying a new bike after 6 years.

Recent $450 full service (Fork service, all suspension joints greased, SRAM twin lok lockout bled, brakes bled & new cables etc, gears tuned – nothing to spend; get on & ride.

I just finished the Convict 100 race on this bike – 44kms – the Bike ran faultlessly.

I was running carbon wheels & a dropper post which had the weight sitting at around 12 kg from memory. The carbon rims & dropper post have been removed & are not included in this price – the bike is back to stock apart from a shorter stem. The stock stem is included in the sale.

Size is XL – I am 6 ft 2 inches – Bike suits 5 ft 11 inch to 6ft -4 inches.

Bike is in great condition; a couple of scuffs on the frame – but overall the Volt Green & electric blue accents still look great.
